Why This Blog Exists: Reclaiming My Voice, Unfiltered

This blog wasn’t created for clicks, algorithms, or approval.

It was created because I needed a place where my voice could exist without being edited, muted, shadowbanned, softened, or reshaped to make other people comfortable.

For a long time, my voice lived inside boxes.

Boxes labeled appropriate, brand-safe, marketable, acceptable.
Boxes built by platforms, audiences, industries, and sometimes even by people who benefited from my silence more than my truth.

This blog is me stepping outside of those boxes.

A Space Without Censorship (or Apology)

Social media is powerful—but it is not neutral.

What you can say, how you can say it, and who gets amplified is often dictated by rules that change without warning and enforcement that is anything but equal. Certain bodies, industries, identities, and perspectives are constantly filtered, flagged, or erased.

I wanted a space where I don’t have to wonder:

  • Will this get taken down?
  • Will this be “too much”?
  • Will this cost me reach, income, or visibility?

Here, I don’t need permission to be honest.

This blog is where I get to speak freely—about business, identity, money, power, creativity, sexuality, burnout, success, failure, joy, anger, and everything in between—without reducing myself to a highlight reel or a hashtag.

More Than a Brand—A Voice

I wear many titles: creator, entrepreneur, strategist, founder, woman, BBW, industry insider, observer, student, teacher.

But before all of that, I am a person with lived experience, opinions, lessons, and stories that deserve space.

This blog is not here to sell you perfection.
It’s here to document growth.
It’s here to tell the truth—especially the parts that don’t fit neatly into captions or 30-second clips.

Some posts will be strategic.
Some will be reflective.
Some will be uncomfortable.
Some will be deeply personal.

All of them will be real.

Owning My Narrative

When you don’t tell your own story, someone else will—often inaccurately, unfairly, or with their own agenda.

This blog is how I take ownership of my narrative.

Not to explain myself.
Not to justify my choices.
But to define myself on my own terms.

I’m done shrinking complex thoughts into sound bites.
I’m done diluting truth for engagement.
I’m done letting silence be mistaken for absence.

Who This Blog Is For

This space is for:

  • People who feel censored, boxed in, or misunderstood
  • Creators and entrepreneurs navigating systems that weren’t built for them
  • Anyone craving honesty over polish
  • Anyone who knows that freedom starts with expression

You don’t have to agree with everything I say.
You don’t even have to like every post.

But you will always know it’s genuine.

A Living, Breathing Space

This blog will evolve—because I evolve.

My thoughts may change.
My perspective may deepen.
My voice may sharpen.

That’s not inconsistency. That’s growth.

If you’re here, thank you for witnessing it.

This isn’t just a blog.
It’s a reclamation.
It’s a record.
It’s my voice—finally uncensored.

Welcome.
